Takashi Iwasaki

Collages by Takashi Iwasaki, via Martin Klasch. I get so much quilt inspiration from collage art. Iawsaki's embroidery, "Abbies", and paintings are incredible.

Hello Kim!
I have been checking your cool blog for the past two years. I am into Quilting but haven't yet basted anything together -ugh.
Otto is a beautiful baby.
Here's the reason I am writing - these collages by Takashi are amazing, and then I saw that a bunch of them are owned by Winnipeggers in Manitoba, Canada. Subsequently, I found out he lives in Winnipeg, where I live. Small world. But don't you just love the internet, you get inspired by someone half a continent away (you) and realize that another inspiring soul lives across town!
Thanks for the posts! Keep them coming! (Honestly I don't know how you find the time with a baby at home - We have a weee one too - Annabel - she's 5 months!)
