For Christmas I got my sister-in-law a petal necklace in an opaque chartruesey color from Poppi. The wonderful jewelry/gift shop Maya Star here in Austin carries them and many other lines that make me, who has always been kind of jewelry-shy, understand and want to drop tons of cash on adornment. Poppi jewelry comes in two flavors: roe (balloon-y) and petal, and each comes in every color/color combination you can imagine.

Comments Because I'm a mom...and ONLY because I'm a mom...I read the title of this post as "Poopi Jewelry", and immediately thought, "Hey! I can do that!" Then I scrolled down and wondered, 'where the hell did those things come from', because, of all the red, fuzzy Elmo hair and everything else I've seen come out of their bottoms and end up in their diapers, I have never found beads and jewels...believe it or not! So I scrolled back up, and now it all makes sense! And I want a ring with all of the dangly beads like the ones in the bottom picture of the necklace. Hmmm...I'll be in Austin on Sunday...
