Fabric Friday: Cloth

I'm pretty sure that I found Cloth through Kathreen, but that could just be because they're both Australian. In any case, thanks! Cloth is a three-person company led by designer Julie Paterson that hand-dyes and silkscreens their fabrics. The fact that there are no prices on the website for the yardage or the beautiful products tells me If You Have to Ask You Can't Afford It, but we can be inspired nonetheless.

Actually the fabrics are pretty reasonably priced...between A$90 and A$120 I think. I went to the Cloth shop in Sydney about 2 months ago and all of their fabrics and ready made items are GORGEOUS! They also have fabulous scrap pack rolls that make very inexpensive packs to start an upholstery quilt. And they said that they could make up scrap packs in colourways if you contact them. But the yardage is also spectacular, it would be a shame to cut into it for a quilt though.... I sparingly use the multitudes of bits and pieces that I picked up there in fabric collages and have also stretched a large piece over a canvas that hangs above my bed.
