:: February 8, 2005 A Satisfying Plate
My modest accomplishment of the week was finishing the plate for the Fry-Up purse. Here it is with eggs for scale. I went from the Fiesta Tea Set pattern and just kept going until I had a 12" circle. You can't really tell due to the stockinette curl, but I added a row of purling to define a plate-rim of sorts. Now on to the exciting parts! My plan is fried eggs, bacon, toast or hash browns (it might be difficult to convey "shredded fried potato" in acrylic yarn), and an orange slice and/or parsley for garnish. posted by in Fry-Up!
